The Liger Secondary Education Program Diploma was first recognized by the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports as equivalent to the National Grade 12 Baccalaureate Diploma in 2015.
A Liger Education diploma affords graduates entry to Cambodian and International Universities and as of December 2024, ninety two from a total of one hundred and three graduates have entered higher education, in educational institutions all around the world.
Countries where graduates have applied for university and a Liger education diploma has been recognized:
USA, Canada, Japan, Italy, Turkey, Thailand, Russia, China, Indonesia, Bangladesh and India.
In 2024 Liger transitioned from a Foundation to an independent fee-paying academy implementing the Liger Secondary Education Program and the diploma equivalence was transferred, by the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport, from Liger Leadership Academy to AUPP Liger Leadership Academy and recognized again in an article of law as seen below:

New Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between The Liger Charitable Foundation and The Ministry of Education Youth and Sports (MoEYS).
The MoEYS confirms that students graduating from The Liger Learning Center (LLC) will directly qualify for admittance to Cambodian University.
This was groundbreaking, and to the best of our knowledge, LLC was the first school in Cambodia’s history to achieve this recognition.
